Blue Lab Grown Diamonds

82 stones in our inventory - hand-selected and personally evaluated

Blue is one of the rarest colors a diamond can have. In lab-grown diamonds, blue color is typically associated with boron incorporated during growth - the same element behind the famous natural blues. Every blue stone we carry is IGI-certified, with its color and intensity graded, ranging from Fancy Intense to deep, saturated Fancy Vivid. Blue rewards careful selection more than almost any other color: tone and saturation shift noticeably from stone to stone, and two diamonds with the same grade on paper can look quite different in person. A certificate tells you the category; it doesn't tell you how the blue actually reads in different light, or how even the color is across the stone. That is exactly the kind of thing we check by eye. Eldad inspects each blue stone personally and will show you how it behaves in daylight and indoors before you decide. If you're after a blue centerpiece or a distinctive engagement ring, let's talk it through.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a lab grown diamond blue?
Blue color in lab-grown diamonds is typically associated with boron incorporated during growth - the same element behind the most famous natural blue diamonds. Each stone’s color is graded and documented by IGI.
Are blue lab grown diamonds rare?
Blue is one of the rarest fancy colors. Even in lab-grown production, fine blue in a strong, even intensity is much less common than yellow or pink.
Why do two blue diamonds with the same grade look different?
Grading captures hue, tone and saturation as categories, but real stones vary within a grade - and evenness of color matters as much as intensity. This is why we evaluate blue visually and recommend seeing stones in person.
Do blue stones come with certification?
Yes. Every blue diamond we offer is IGI-certified, with its color grade stated on the report.
